Sarah Chalke, of “Roseanne” and “Scrubs” fame, is back on a network comedy with “How to Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)”. She stars as Polly, a divorced single mom who has to move back in with her parents.
Said parents are Elaine (Elizabeth Perkins) and stepdad Max (Brad Garrett), a pair of off-beat hippies who are very free-wheeling with their sexual exploits. Polly brings with her daughter Natalie (Rachel Eggleston) and so begins a modern-day familial unit, as Polly tries to put her life back together.
What did you think? We find the cast utterly likable and therefore are rooting for this one to work out. It’s not necessarily laugh-your-butt-off hilarious, but it’s cute and charming.
