Hulk Hogan is in the news again, thankfully this time with his pants on. The Hulkster is suing the Laser Spine Institute in Florida, claiming the doctors there actually made him feel worse than he did before he underwent surgery.
In the suit Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, says he was seeking treatment for a multitude of injuries, including scoliosis and multiple bulging discs. After a series of surgeries on his back, Hulk feels he was mislead and wasn’t told that the spinal surgery was only a temporary fix.
He also claims that the surgeries led to him losing out on a $50 million payday for a match against top World Wrestling Entertainment star John Cena. According to TMZ, the wrestling icon says he was scheduled to face Cena, the face of WWE, in what would be the last match of Hulk’s career. Hogan believed the contract and subsequent appearances were worth $50 million.
It’s worth noting that Hulk Hogan signed with another wrestling company in 2009 in a non-wrestling role and continues to be under contract with them today.
