Dianna Agron is totally winning the race to turn “Glee” stardom into a movie career.
Agron, who has a smallish role in “Burlesque,” steps up to female-lead status with the sci-fi flick “I Am Number Four,” which hits theaters in February and which released a new trailer on Tuesday (Dec. 7). She plays Sarah, a high-school girl who falls for new kid John Smith (Alex Pettyfer), with complications ensuing.

Caruso (“Disturbia”) directed it, and its script (based on the YA novel of the same name) comes from “Smallville” creators Al Gough and Miles Millar and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” veteran Marti Noxon. “I Am Number Four” is scheduled for release on Feb. 18.
