The popular 1990s sketch comedy show “In Living Color” is coming back to FOX for another turn.
The network announced Friday (Oct. 28) it will air two 30-minute specials of the show in Spring 2012. If the show performs well, it could get picked up to series. Keenen Ivory Wayans, the producer of the original, will again serve as executive producer.
The series ran for five seasons, from 1990-94. It served as a launching pad for numerous A-listers including Jim Carrey, Damon Wayans, Jamie Foxx and Chris Rock. It also help build the careers of Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Ann Inaba and Rosie Perez as well as numerous other comic actors. Some of the show’s more notable sketches included Homey D. Clown, Fire Marshall Bill and Men on Film.
