“In the Flesh” returns to BBC America on May 10, and it opens with a bit of a curveball. A scary curveball.
Rather than checking back in with Kieren Walker (Luke Newberry), Season 2 of the series about the aftermath of a zombie — er, Partially Deceased Syndrome — uprising opens on Ken Burton (Ricky Tomlinson), who has left Roarton and is trying to educate a young boy that the undead aren’t necessarily any worse than the living.
That’s going to be a lot harder after they witness an assault by members of the Undead Liberation Army. You can watch the tense, harrowing opening sequence above.
“In the Flesh” opens Season 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT Saturday, May 10, following “Orphan Black.” You can stream Season 1 starting Friday (May 2) on BBCAmerica.com.
