Former reality star Jack Osbourne recently announced that, just two weeks after the birth of his infant daughter Pearl, he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Last week, he stopped by his mother’s television show “The Talk” and revealed that he has already faced discrimination because of the diagnosis.
Shortly before finding out that he was suffering from MS, Osbourne had been cast on an unnamed reality show. “I had just
booked a job right when I got diagnosed and unfortunately the company
that hire me didn’t think I could actually perform the job,” he revealed. “Out of everything, that’s what ticked me off the most, because it’s like, ‘Don’t tell me what I can and cannot do!'”
Sharon Osbourne, who manages her son, said that she was informed that he was canned via an email from the producers, who said his illness was “too much of a responsibility.” Later, she tweeted, “Yes @MrJacko was fired. They said he was a liability & were so personable, sent an email to let us know.”
Not cool, unnamed TV producers.
