It seems like just yesterday — actually it was Tuesday — that James Franco was talking about sex tapes. Specifically, his own teen-era sex tape. Now that experience may come in handy since he’s reportedly looking to re-team with “Howl” directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman for “Lovelace,” a biopic about ’70s porn star Linda Lovelace.
The Oscar nominee/co-host would play pornographer Chuck Traynor, Lovelace’s allegedly abusive husband of three years. Among other things, Traynor was accused of forcing Lovelace into the pornography business and holding her captive with a gun.
Recently rehabbed Linsday Lohan had been slated to play the “Deep Throat” star in “Inferno,” the other Lovelace biopic currently in the works, but that movie will now star Malin Akerman in the lead role.
