Late Mexican pop icon Jenni Rivera’s reality series “I Love Jenni” will premiere its third season April 14 on mun2. Some of the episodes were shot prior to her death, and others will deal with how her family handled her tragic loss.
Rivera’s children Chiquis, Jacqui, Michael, Jenicka and Johnny, and her sister Rosie will be featured in the posthumously produced episodes.
The 43-year-old Rivera was on the rise in the entertainment industry, and had just recently made a deal to star in an ABC sitcom, when a December plane crash claimed her life and the lives of six others.
mun2 has also scheduled a rebroadcast of tribute special, “We Love Jenni,” to air April 7 and include appearances by Carson Daly, Mario Lopez, Thalia and others.
