“American Idol” judge Jennifer Lopez started the week off in a big way, announcing her upcoming 10th album, “A.K.A.” Lopez revealed the album’s name, and its very red cover, on Twitter.
The album news came the same day as the announcement that Lopez will be receiving the Icon Award from Billboard. “Music has always been my first love,” she says in a release. “I am a lot of different things and I do a lot of different things. I love hip-hop, pop, dance music and R&B … I have created a collection of songs that make me feel good and make me feel happy.”
JLo also celebrated with the release of a new single, “First Love,” on May 1. You can listen to that below. “A.K.A.” is in stores June 17.
