Justin Bieber gave new meaning to “the show must go on” at his Believe concert in London on Thursday night. According to concert-goers, Bieber was in the middle of performing his hit song “Beauty and a Beat,” when he experienced a shortness of breath. He informed the crowd that he wasn’t feeling well and went backstage and promptly collapsed.
According to TMZ, he was taken into a private room with medical professionals. Scooter Braun, Bieber’s manager, went on stage and told the worried audience, “Justin’s got very light breath. The whole show he’s been complaining. He’s backstage with the EMTs and the doctor.”
A rep for Bieber confirms to E! that he took a ten-minute break for medical reasons, but went back on stage to finish out the show for his fans. “He got oxygen from emergency personnel. He insisted on finishing the show,” says the source.
Don’t worry, Beliebers — now that the show is over, he’s going to get the medical attention that he needs. “He is on the way to the hospital right now,” the rep says.
His fans were quick to support him, immediately trending “I Will Catch You If You Fall Justin” on Twitter following his dizzy spell.
