Justin Bieber will be trading his Yankees cap for a Stetson.
The pop star will be going country strong with Rascal Flatts for his next studio collaboration.
“I love @RascalFlatts and Im honored that they are making music with me,” reads his Sunday, Dec. 19 tweet.
The respect is mutual.
“[Justin] asked us to do a duet with him on his next record,” Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox tells WSIX’s Big Country. “It’s actually a really good song. The kid is really talented. He plays five or six different instruments really well.”
The collaboration was Bieber’s idea, and he’s actually a country music fan. Back in August, he reportedly sang the first verse of Alan Jackson’s “Chattahoochee” in Nashville while he was in town for a concert at the Bridgestone Arena.
