While Jesse James seems to love discussing his breakup with Kat Von D, she doesn’t seem as keen on the idea. Kat stopped by the set of “Good Day LA” on Wednesday morning to promote her show, “LA Ink,” but stormed out after the interviewer used a clip that featured Jesse James to introduce Kat’s segment.
In the clip, Kat gets a tattoo of her former love. News anchor Jeff Michael mentioned the couple’s recent breakup as he was introducing Kat — and she turned around and left the building, according to TMZ.
Apparently, producers did seek permission from Kat (and got it!) to air the clip, and they also gave her a courtesy heads’ up that she’d be asked about the breakup.
“Dear GoodDayLA, thanks for the waste of a perfectly good morning. Lack
of compassion n respect for eachother never fails to dissapoint me,” she tweeted later that day.
When host Jillian Reynolds saw the tweet, she wasn’t pleased. “Bring it up with TLC, the company who sent the clip of your reality show with Jesse in it,” she said, addressing Kat through the camera. “We were just trying to promote your show. Had we other clips to show? I don’t know, perhaps, but if you’re putting your life on a reality show and then you’re not willing to talk about it it seems kind of [contradictory].
On Monday, Kat also used Twitter to confirm the split, saying, “I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and
