The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will return to their royal duties in September, scheduling their first official appearance since the birth of their son.
The former Kate Middleton and her husband, Prince William, are scheduled to be the guests of honor at the Tusk Conservation Awards on Sept. 12. The prince is a patron of the Tusk Trust, which funds conservation work in Africa.
“It is a long-standing engagement,” a Kensington Palace spokesperson tells the Mirror.
Prince William, meanwhile, has taped his first TV interview since becoming a dad. The full interview will air Sept. 15 on CNN, with an excerpt scheduled to run as part of the news channel’s morning show “New Day” on Monday (Aug. 19).
