Kate Middleton is currently the subject of a nude photo scandal and Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson has decided to weigh in.
“I have total empathy and sympathy for her. I have been there and know what it’s like. Everyone is entitled to privacy. It is a devastating invasion of one’s personal inner space. It is deplorable, abhorrent and despicable,” she tells the Daily Mail.
“[Kate] is a beautiful young woman doing a great job for the country. Why should she be stripped of that moment with her husband,” Ferguson continues.
Fergie is no stranger to scandal herself. In 1992, coming off her split from Prince Andrew (Prince Charles’ young brother), Fergie was caught by photographers in a topless tryst with American John Bryan.
Do you think Kate’s scandal is anything like Fergie’s? Or even Prince Harry’s? Frankly, it seems that a married woman sunbathing topless with her husband in a private residence is not only not a big deal, but something that makes Kate even more likable than she already was.
That doesn’t mean the violation of privacy is in any way OK — it is most definitely not. But do you think this reflects poorly on Kate?
