When Keira Knightley ties the knot with Klaxons keyboardist fiance James Righton, it won’t be an overstuffed affair. The actress has revealed she’s planning to keep her big day more low-key.
Gracing the cover of the May issue of “Marie Claire UK,” she tells the magazine, “I could have six fake weddings. God, that would be expensive. We’re not big-wedding types. I don’t need to have all that.”
Knightley admits that, for the time being, she’s keeping focused on having fun with her engagement, telling the publication, “I’m just trying to enjoy the engagement bit. My parents are together after 40 years. The fights are there, but they love each other. It’s not like the first three months, the first two years, whatever it is, but I think it gets more interesting, or I hope so.”
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actress also opened up about her struggles with fame: “The machine that allows you to make movies, the trade-off [requires] you to sell it. Selling it means making yourself a public figure. You can’t cultivate the mystery. My problem is I like mystery.”
