“About a month and a half ago, we did something great in London. You were able to share it with us, we felt so much love from our NBC family and from everyone at home. So Casey and I wanted to come on here with you guys today and share some other news — when I was throwing my body around fearlessly and going for gold for our country, I was pregnant. And today I’m 11 weeks pregnant and feelin’ … pregnant,” says Walsh-Jennings.
So, counting back, Kerri was about five weeks along while she was kicking butt and taking names in beach volleyball at the Summer Olympics. When we were five weeks along, we felt nauseous all day and wanted to do nothing but sleep. Good lord, Superwoman.
Matt Lauer asks Kerri if she knew in London and she says, “Not to get too detailed, but I’m like clockwork. I’m a pretty happy girl and I was unreasonably moody.”
At this point, her husband pipes up, “No, not unreasonably,” and as Lauer says, good answer, Casey.
Crazy. But congratulations to Kerri and Casey. This will be their third child, the couple already has two boys, Joseph, 3, and Sundance, 2.
