Zap2it caught up with Taylor-Johnson to talk about Dave’s insane abs, his new love interest, Night Bitch (Lindy Booth), and his new crew of crime-fighting cohorts (including Jim Carrey and Donald Faison). “Justice Forever is this team of superheroes, vigilantes, and he fits perfectly right in,” Taylor-Johnson explains. “They go out and try to take on the city.”
Christopher Mintz-Plasse is also back for the sequel, but his character has undergone a bit of a makeover. He’s got a slightly different look — Mintz-Plasse likens it to a “gimp suit” — and an extremely unsafe for work name. No, it’s not something you can say on a family website. Although Lyndsy Fonseca will reprise her role too, Dave is getting a new love interest for “Kick Ass 2.” Lindy Booth’s Night Bitch is actually one of the good guys — it’s more of a Sasha Fierce-style alter-ego than an extremely thought out superhero name.
“Kick-Ass 2” hits theaters Aug. 16.
