If given the choice between rocking out the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards or the Super Bowl, we’re guessing most acts above the age of 15 would opt for the latter. For Fergie, Will.i.am and the rest of the Black Eyed Peas crew, they’ll take what they can get at this point.
]]> ill-fated ode to Guns ‘N Roses, the Black Eyed Peas stuck to their own material for Saturday’s (Apr. 2) live broadcast of the KCAs. Performing “The Time (Dirty Bit)” and “Just Can’t Get Enough” alongside overly animated host, Jack Black, the Peas put on a performance significantly better than their February flop. The 2011 KCAs served up a hefty portion of BEP mania, opening with Black’s rendition of their hit “I Gotta Feeling” and the group taking home a coveted blimp in the Favorite Music Group category. Fergie’s hubby, Josh Duhamel, was on-hand as well, serving up an arm farting instructional. Oh, Nickelodeon. We’ll post video of the performance as soon as it’s available. In the meantime, you can relive Super Bowl XLV. If you want to, that is. We actually really enjoyed this performance — What did you think?
