Sad news for Lady Gaga fans. The singer is being forced to postpone four of her upcoming shows due to an injury. Gaga went to Twitter to explain the injury, tweeting, “I’ve been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I’ve been praying it would heal,” continuing, “I hid it from my staff, I didn’t want to disappoint my amazing fans. However, after last nights performance I could not walk and still can’t.”
According to Gaga’s doctor, she’s suffering from synovitis, which is a severe inflammation of the joints. The injury forces the postponement of two shows in Chicago, one in Detroit, and one in Hamilton, Ontario.
The remainder of the tour is expected to continue, starting with a show in Philadephia on February 20.
