It’s official now: Ashton Kutcher has been hired to take over for Charlie Sheen on “Two and a Half Men,” and he and co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones appeared together at CBS’ upfront on Wednesday (May 18).
Not to be outdone, Sheen made his own announcement on Thursday night. If Kutcher is taking over for him, then he’s going to take over for Kutcher as the mastermind of a prank show: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing “Sheen’d.”
Jimmy Fallon broke out his grade-A impression of Sheen on Thursday’s “Late Night” for the bit above, in which he imagines what a Sheen-led prank show would look like. It’s not especially winning — unless your idea of a great prank is flicking the lights on and off while standing in the doorway.
Fallon and his team are getting really, really good at using filmed pieces and other sketch comedy-style bits to add variety to “Late Night.” We’re sure he’ll find more uses for his Sheen impression in the future.
