After many years of being tabloid fodder, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are ready to show the world their reality on their new VH1 show “LeAnn & Eddie.”
The couple made an appearance on “The Wendy Williams” show (July 17), to promote the show and dish on all things their show would and wouldn’t include as well as to have a little fun.
When the host inquired about their decision to put their lives on TV when the public already get their fill from the magazines, Cibrian defended their choice saying, “Tabloids, while they provide great sensational headlines and great hot topics for you to discuss, they aren’t always accurate,
so we just kind of wanted to poke fun at that.”
The interview wouldn’t have been complete without Williams bringing up Cibrian’s ex-wife, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, Brandi Glanville and the social media sparring she does with his current spouse.
When Williams said to the actor, “Why don’t you tell you wife to get off Twitter and stop engaging [with Brandi]?” Cibrian was quick to defend Rimes saying, “Well my wife doesn’t engage, I think that’s the thing to, that the media
has made a feud out of this, a Twitter feud.”
The couple also revealed despite being open to having a child of their own, Cibrian’s two sons with Glanville will not be shown on “LeAnn & Eddie.” The two boys also do not appear on “Housewives.”
