This just keeps getting better and better. Or worse and worse, depending on whether you’re Lindsay Lohan. More details have emerged about the troubled actress’ arrest for assault in the wee hours of Thursday morning.
Lindsay was in New York City to attend a Justin Bieber concert with her sister Ali Lohan, but she left early in the show. She was really only there to see Biebs’ opening act, The Wanted. The British boy band supported Bieber at his show, and according to TMZ, Lindsay was interested in bad boy singer Max George. She even tried to get backstage after the concert to see him, but security prevented her from going in. She didn’t give up, though — Lindsay and a friend later met up with Max, along with his band mates Tom Parker and Jay McGuiness, at a hotel bar.
The group later left the hotel bar and headed to Avenue, a nightclub. According to reports, Lindsay — who has been in rehab several times and has told the press that she’s currently sober — was drinking heavily, and Max wasn’t interested. He began talking to 28-year-old tourist Tiffany Eve Mitchell, who was visiting from Florida with her husband. Mitchell is the woman Lohan allegedly punched in the face. Mitchell’s husband is the one who called police to the scene.
According to reports, Max ended up going home with another woman entirely.
Unsurprisingly, Michael Lohan has already weighed in on the drama via Twitter, though he deleted his tweets shortly after posting them. “I have been trying for years and especially over the past two weeks but
my pleas have gone unheard Children need BOTH PARENTS, not alienation,”
he wrote. “Do you see what I mean when our children don’t have BOTH
parents there for them and on the same page! I have tried and tried but
Dina Lohan did meet Lindsay immediately after she was released from custody. Lohan has been charged with third-degree assault.
TMZ posted the video below of Lohan sobbing, “Are you kidding?” as she’s cuffed and escorted to a police car.
