Lindsay Lohan is heading to the stage. It’s been confirmed that the “Lindsay” star will play the female lead in David Mamet’s “Speed-the-Plow” at London’s Playhouse Theatre starting on Sept. 24.
According to Broadway.com, Lohan will play Karen, a secretary character who was played by Madonna in the original 1988 production. Lohan will perform eight shows a week in a limited engagement that will run from Sept. 24 to Nov. 30. The press day is being held on Oct. 2.
This production of “Speed-the-Plow” will be directed by Lindsay Posner. The casting of main characters Charlie Fox and Bobby Gould has not been announced.
