Oh Lindsay Lohan. We had such high hopes for you to turn it around. Well, we had hopes. Well, we thought maybe you’d think about turning it around. Well…
Lindsay Lohan’s community service hours have been transferred from a downtown Los Angeles women’s shelter to the American Red Cross; reports indicate that Lohan has completed only 21 of the 360 community services hours she was assigned in May. Lohan has until April 2012 to complete the hours.
Los Angeles district attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison confirms that Lohan has failed to appear for appointed shifts at the shelter and often works less than her allotted four hours. Lohan has also failed to appear at the Los Angeles County coroner’s office where she has 120 hours of volunteer janitorial work to complete before April.
Lohan’s community service stems from her conviction for stealing a necklace from a Venice jeweler earlier this year. Lohan may want to pay more attention to her hours; Judge Stephanie Sautner has previously warned Lohan that she will not “give her five minutes extra. I don’t want to hear ‘Oh I couldn’t do it because I was on the set of the John Gotti movie.”
