lindsey vonn sochi olympics tiger woods gi Lindsey Vonn vows to be ready for Olympics but won't talk Tiger Woods

Olympic gold medal skier Lindsey Vonn is sure she’ll be healed in time to compete in the next Olympics, vowing to be ready to go. In an interview with the “Today Show,” Vonn says she is just a couple weeks removed from major knee surgery, following a crash at the world championships in Austria.
Even with the severity of the crash, Lindsey is all smiles, telling Matt Lauer that she has no fear of returning to the sport she loves, saying, “I feel like I have a lot more left to do.” She also discussed recently admitting that she sometimes battles with depression. “I felt like I needed to tell people about it to really be able to move forward,” Vonn says, “I hope that, at least, one good thing about me talking about it is, other people don’t feel ashamed to talk about it.”
After Lauer questions whether she will have enough time to properly prepare for the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Vonn says she’d be fine with only training a week before the games.
Finally, when Lauer asked Vonn off camera about the recent reports linking her to Tiger Woods, she told him she’d like to keep her private life just that: private.
