If Taylor Swift didn’t make her message in “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” clear enough, Samuel L. Jackson is here to clear the air. The “Django Unchained” star performs the “Red” hit for London’s 95.8 Capital FM radio station, and he arguably gives Swift a run for her money.
Of course, Jackson recites the words instead of singing the song, but he gets its point across. He even adlibs a bit, calling the man Swift is singing to a “lying, cheating piece of sh**.” Well, we’re sure that’s what she was thinking when she wrote it anyways.
Just like Michael Emerson reading “Little Boy Blue” before him, Jackson has made a name for himself by putting his great voice to good use. Don’t believe us? Just listen to him narrate his “children’s book,” “Go The F**k To Sleep.”
