Harold Perrineau, who’s coming off playing a very bad man on “Sons of Anarchy,” will play a nicer guy in his next TV role.
The “Lost” alumnus has joined the cast of “Family Guide,” the previously untitled comedy from writer DJ Nash (“Bent,” “‘Til Death”). It centers on a teenage boy, Henry (Eli Baker), his parents (J.K. Simmons and Parker Posey) and the way they manage to hang together after the parents’ divorce. Perrineau will play the manager of the apartment building where Posey’s character lives who befriends Henry.
Perrineau has done mostly dramatic roles in his career, but he also recently starred on TBS’ comedy “Wedding Band.”
