Remember “Love American Style,” that campy show from the ’70s where a different group of guest stars would star in comedic vignettes about romance in the modern age? Well, it’s getting made over as a one-hour comedy for NBC called “Love Bites.”
Becki Newton (“Ugly Betty”) and Jordana Spiro (“My Boys”) anchor the show as the last two single gals standing among their friends and will be there each and every week while a list of guest stars with their own stories will rotate in and out on a weekly basis.
Check out the third clip to see Jennifer Love Hewitt play herself as Greg Grunberg (“Heroes”) and Craig Robinson (“The Office”) debate the rules of The List.
Jason Lewis (“Sex and the City”), Lindsay Price (“Lipstick Jungle”), Larry Wilmore (“The Daily Show”), Charlyne Yi (“Paper Hearts”), Pamela Adlon (“Californication”), Stacy Galina (“Hidden Hills”), Brian Hallisay (“Privileged”), Kyle Howard (“My Boys”) and Steve Howey (“Bride Wars”) are also featured in the pilot.
