You have no excuse not to watch the premiere of WGN America’s “Manhattan” on July 27: After the debut of the new drama, the second original series for the cable network, it will air on 33 more Tribune-owned TV stations nationwide.
“Manhattan,” about the group of Manhattan Project scientists working on developing the atomic bomb in early 1940s New Mexico, will premiere Sunday, July 27 at 9 p.m. ET/8 CT before moving to its regular 10 p.m. ET time the following week.
But on the night of July 27, stations owned by Tribune (Zap2it‘s parent company) across the country will air an encore presentation of the pilot episode. Some of those stations include New York’s WPIX, Los Angeles’ KTLA, Chicago’s WGN, Philadelphia’s WPHL and Washington, D.C.’s WDCW.
