aaron sorkin mark zuckerberg Mark Zuckerberg says 'Social Network' got his shirts right. But that's itNot everyone appreciates screenwriter Aaron Sorkins depiction of Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network.”  Especially Zuckerberg.

In the video below, Zuckerberg says he has been dumped by girls a lot, not just once. He was impressed that the fimmakers got all his shirts right. But he’s amazed that the filmmakers made it look like the whole reason for making Facebook was because he wanted to get girls. “I have been dating the same girl since before I started Facebook,” he explains.

But Mark’s way outnumbered. In the glory days of rave reviews for “Social Network”, the screenwriter Aaron Sorkin was inducted into the Final Draft Hall of Fame at the annual awards — sponsored by Marc Madnick‘s screenwriting software company — at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills on Thursday (Oct 14).

]]>up, Aaron. Keep your head up. After all, the Oscar season is  a-coming and critics Roger Ebert called the movie “splendidly well-made” while Peter Travers of Rolling Stone called “Network” “movie of the year.”  About the rave reviews, Aaron told the crowd: “When it seemed like thousands of reviews came in and they all appeared to be written by my mother, I asked (director) David Fincher, ‘When will the inevitable backlash begin?’  David said, ‘The moment you pick up your first award.”   Then Aaron held up his award…..to raucous laughter from the crowd. We wondered if  Aaron Sorkin ever met Zuckerberg. “I haven’t met Mark Zuckerberg, but I’d be happy to,” he told the Dish Rag. “Honestly, my priority is always the audience. “ Sorkin also has a big fan in “Entourage” star Jeremy Piven, who loves the film and knows a little something about playing obnoxious, flawed characters based on real people — his Ari Gold is based on Ari Emanuel, the brother of former White House spokesman Rahm Emmanuel. Piven told The Dish Rag: “I’ve been a fan of Aaron for a really long time. There was actually a time where we could see his work every week on “The West Wing.”  It was so kind of brilliant and prolific, it was blinding. It’s too  bad we only see him a few times a year in movies. You take a look at “The Social Network,” that dialogue  just stays with you.” Have you seen it? Is it the Movie of the Year?
