It’s a girl for actress Marla Sokoloff and her husband, Alec Puro.
Sokoloff (“The Practice,” “Full House”) gave birth to a daughter on Wednesday (Feb. 8). The baby weighed in at 7 pounds. “Mom, dad and baby are happy as can be and completely in love with each other,” she tells People.
She also blogged about her pregnancy for the magazine, saying in a recent post that she was ready to meet the addition to her family: “Everyone keeps telling me to enjoy these final moments of solitude, but I just want to jump to the part of pregnancy that comes with a baby already!” she wrote.
Following “The Practice,” Sokoloff starred in the ABC comedy “Big Day” and last year had a lead in “Scents and Sensibility,” a takeoff on the Jane Austen story. She’s also guested on “CSI: NY” and “Drop Dead Diva” in recent years.
Congratulations to the new parents!
