Four more couples will tie the knot without knowing their future spouses — that’s a high-commitment blind date — on a second season of FYI’s “Married At First Sight.”
The 11-episode Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in 2015, and the network is on the hunt now for six new people who will trust four specialists — a sexologist, a spiritualist, a psychologist and a sociologist — to use their matchmaking methods to pair them up with an appropriate partner.
Just as in Season 1, the new couples will get legally married when they first meet, and the show will document the relationship milestones they then experience. They’ll decide whether to stay with their new partners after several weeks of living together as a married couple.
The outcomes of each relationship will be revealed in the “Married at First Sight” Season 1 finale on Tuesday, Sept. 9. The show airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FYI.
