January Jones must be rapidly discovering that presenting the American public with a whodunit puzzle is not a good way to get them to mind their own business. The longer her baby daddy remains nameless, the more curious we are. Recently, Claudia Schiffer‘s husband, Matthew Vaughn, was rumored to be the father of Jones’ unborn child.
As her “X-Men: The First Class” director, Vaughn worked closely with Jones, and an online blind item very heavily insinuated that Vaughn was the man who impregnated the 33-year-old “Mad Men” actress. Now, his lawyers are crawling all over the item, calling it an “absolute lie” in a statement to Page Six.
His attorney, Martin Singer, debunks an E! story suggesting that Vaughn and Jones had a “very close” relationship on the “X-Men” set.
When Jones announced the pregnancy, a source told People, “She’s really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom.”
Do you think all the speculation will lead her to cave and drop a name?
