Looks like there’s no life left in the Lifetime pilot “American Housewife.”
Deadline is reporting that the cable network passed on the show which featured Melanie Griffith as a housewife to an up-and-coming politician played by Jeffrey Nordling. In addition to starring in the show, Griffith also executive produced it with her husband Antonio Banderas.
Griffith hasn’t had much luck on the small screen. Her 2007 show “Viva Laughlin” was sacked after just two episodes. In 2006, her WB show “Twins” fared only slightly better. It made it through 18 episodes but went away after that.
