When the 2011 Emmy nominations are announced bright and early on July 14 (less than two days to go!), the lucky nominees will be announced by “Fringe’s” Joshua Jackson and “Mike and Molly” star Melissa McCarthy.
The latter, who’s having a pretty incredible summer after her scene-stealing supporting role in “Bridesmaids,” apparently isn’t prepared. So she turned to last year’s nominee co-announcer Joel McHale (“Community”) for a crash course in how to get ready.
It’s absurd, sort of offensive and very, very funny. And it’s a good thing she’s showcasing her charm now, because she’ll probably be too groggy Thursday morning (5:35 am PT!) to have much fun with reading off lists of names.
