Michaele Salahi, reality star and White House party crasher, is engaged to rocker Neal Schon of Journey. The Washington Post reports the guitarist brought his love on stage for — what else, but — a public proposal during a concert fundraiser in Baltimore. A video posted on YouTube shows the bride-to-be kneeling down with her betrothed before jumping for joy and skipping off the stage,
Salahi, a former Washington Redskins cheerleader and “Real Housewives of D.C.” cast member, began dating Schon while still married to ex-husband Tareq Salahi. When Michaele ran off with Neal — whom she’d apparently known since the 90’s — Tareq reported her missing, and chaos ensued.
Michaele and Tareq first received national media attention when the then unknown pair made their way into President Barack Obama‘s first state dinner at the White House, partying alongside Rahm Emmanuel and Vice President Joe Biden, with nary an invitation, nor a second glance from the Secret Service. Tareq is now running for governor of the great state of Virginia. Michaele is…touring with Journey?
