blue valentine Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling deny relationship, giggle

Since filming their movie “Blue Valentine,” and its reportedly graphic love scenes, Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling have been rumored to be a possible off-screen couple.

]]>Cynthia McFadden on “ABC News Nightline,” the two were asked point blank if there was any truth to the rumors that they’d been dating. Their responses included mischievous grins and shakes of the head. “Why don’t I beleive you?” McFadden asks. “I always look like I’m lying,” says Gosling. “It’s just — that’s my face.” He claims they’re just friends, though they do have a professional relationship. “Creatively, we are doing it,” he says. And he does describe her quite affectionately. Gosling adds that Williams a cross between Brigitte Bardot and Clint Eastwood, “a sexy cowboy.” “Blue Valentine,” which was recently downgraded from a NC-17 to a R rating, opens in limited release on Dec, 29.
