Miley Cyrus is a triple threat, y’all: actor, singer, and activist.
No stranger to controversy — just this week she kidded about being a stoner at her 19th birthday party — Miley has now thrown significant support behind the Occupy Wall Street movement with her video for the remix of her song “Liberty Walk.”
The video for “Liberty Walk” was uploaded to her YouTube account this week, featuring footage of the protests — marching, burning, and even police brutality is depicted. Hannah Montana would be, like, totally confused.
The video, tagged with “Miley Cyrus Rock Mafia,” begins with the note: “This is dedicated to the thousands of people who are standing up for what they believe in.”
We’re sure this is exactly what the first occupiers had in mind when their protest began.
