Tallahassee, Florida fans will have to wait four extra months to see Miranda Lambert on her “On Fire” tour. Lambert canceled her Tallahassee concert after a friend since childhood, Mark “Tex” Adams, was hit by a car while stopping to help someone else.
“I have lost a friend I’ve had since 3rd grade today in a a tragic accident. When will this pain end. Please pray for peace,” Lambert tweeted on Thursday, urging fans to “Please call your friends, especially the ones you haven’t talked to In a while or maybe are not on great terms with and tell em u love em.”
Lambert’s husband, singer and star of “The Voice” Blake Shelton, lost his father 10 days prior.
Scheduled to perform in Tallahassee on Friday, Lambert will now make good on May 17.
