For those of you who are dying to know what Savannah Davis (Alyssa Milano) will do about her two men and a baby or who got shot at Karen Kim’s (Yunjin Kim) house on the Season 1 finale of “Mistresses,” you’re in luck! The show will be back next year.
ABC has renewed the summer soapy drama for a second season, to air next summer. There is no word yet as to how many episodes will air. Season 1 featured 13 episodes over the course of the summer, with a two-week hiatus due to the “Bachelorette” finale and the CMA music festival.
The show averaged roughly 4 million viewers per episode and was the summer’s no. 2 scripted series after “Under the Dome.” It aired simultaneously in Canada during the U.S. broadcast and debuted in July in the U.K. It will debut Sept. 30 in Australia.
