Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort’s second movie together, “The Fault in Our Stars,” a emotional movie about two teenagers dealing with cancer, is a far cry from their first one, “Divergent,” the dystopian future-set action flick. The first clip from “TFIOS” made its debut just before the start of the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, and it revealed just how down-to-Earth and grounded the film will be.
As book lovers will know, the scene between Woodley’s Hazel and Elgort’s Augustus was their first conversation together, just after meeting at a support group for teens with cancer.
Augustus asks Hazel to see a movie, but she’s skeptical of his motives. “You could be an axe murderer,” she tells him.
“There’s always that possibility. Come on Hazel Grace, take a risk,” he retorts before putting a cigarette in his mouth. Why would he do that? Watch the clip and find out.
“The Fault in Our Stars” hits theaters June 6.
