Jan. 6 marks the 20th anniversary of Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan‘s attack, as well as the scandal of Tonya Harding‘s involvement. After so many years, Harding has finally begun to talk about the incident. An interview with “Good Morning America” gives her side of the story.
“I didn’t even know the other persons that were involved,” Harding says in the interview. She also notes that the media attention and later ban from competitive figure skating took nearly everything away from her. Another revelation from the clip: Kerrigan was still getting death threats going into the Olympics.
