You might’ve seen the last of Santana on “Glee.” According to new reports, Naya Rivera’s feuding on the set of the FOX musical — with co-star Lea Michele and with the producers — has led to her dismissal from the show (but apparently Michele had nothing to do with it).
After reports surfaced that Rivera walked off set after a spat with co-star Michele, new rumors are swirling that Rivera’s days on the show are done. According to the New York Daily News, Rivera has feuded with the producers so much that they’ve written her out of the Season 5 finale.
The on-set dispute had nothing to do with Michele, however, with a source telling the NYDN, “One co-star would not have any power in whether another returns to the show.”
E! Online reports that although Rivera will not be a part of the finale, her future on the show has not yet been decided. “We love Naya and want only the best for her. Hopefully we can work it out,” a show insider tells E!. “We all needed a moment. … [The break is] best for everyone.”
Rivera was supposed to sing with Heather Morris and Amber Riley in the finale, “but that storyline and song have been tweaked,” E! reports.
At press time, FOX had not responded to Zap2it‘s request for comment.
