“New Girl” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” promise to keep viewers entertained once the Super Bowl has come to an end. FOX has announced the details for the episodes airing after the big game and they sound promising.
On “New Girl,” which will feature previously reported guest star Prince, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Cece (Hannah Simone) are invited to a mansion party thrown by his royal badness. Nick (Jake Johnson), Schmidt (Max Greenfield), Winston (Lamorne Morris) and Coach (Damon Wayans, Jr.) don’t want to be left out, so their mission becomes crashing the party. FOX also notes the episode will feature special guest cameos. Chances are it’s going to be a star-studded affair at Prince’s place.
“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” will include a “Saturday Night Live” reunion as Fred Armisen returns to guest star once again, along with Super Bowl-winning quarter back Joe Theismann. Jake (Andy Samberg) and Amy (Melissa Fumero) try to get to the bottom of a string of hotel robberies but things get difficult with the news that Amy may be leaving Nine-Nine to work with “The Vulture” (guest star Dean Winters) in major crimes.
The episodes air Sunday, Feb. 2, after Super Bowl XLVIII on FOX.
