One-time “Desperate Housewives” star Nicollette Sheridan will get her day in court — again. On Wednesday (April 18), a judge set a retrial date for Sheridan’s wrongful termination case against the show and its parent company, ABC/Disney.
The date has been set for Sept. 10, but Judge Elizabeth Allen White strongly urged Disney and Sheridan to settle out of court, reports TMZ. Disney had asked for the case to be dismissed earlier this year, but the request was denied and the trial ended in a hung jury.
Sheridan contends that she was wrongfully terminated by “Desperate Housewives” after complaining about an on-set incident in which show creator Marc Cherry gave her a “nice wallop” to the head.
