“I can clarify that she has left the family home with her children,” the spokesperson for Lawson tells The Telegraph.
Apparently there has been no formal complaint filed by Lawson against Saatchi, though police are aware of the troubling photos. The spokesperson says, “Inquiries are in hand to establish the facts in order to assess whether an investigation is necessary.”
According to an onlooker at the Scott’s restaurant where the incident went down, there was apparently “no doubt [Lawson] was scared. It was horrific, really. She was very tearful and was constantly dabbing her eyes.” Lawson was seen driving away from her marital home with her son after the incident.
This isn’t the first time a fight between Lawson and Saatchi has been documented. In 2007, she admitted that he is “an exploder” when the two of them get into arguments. “I’ll go quiet when he explodes, and then I am a nest of horrible festeringness,” she said. It remains to be seen if this is the last time she allows such an explosion.
