Three-time Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings is now a three-time mother, after giving birth to a baby girl Saturday (April 6).
Walsh Jennings and her husband, fellow volleyball player Casey Jennings, welcomed daughter Scout Margery to the world at 7:46 a.m. PT.
“Our family feels so blessed to have this beautiful new addition to our family,” Walsh Jennings tells Us Weekly in a statement. “We cherish our lil Scout already and can’t wait to watch her as she grows in this world alongside her sweet big brothers.”
The couple, married for seven years, has two sons, 3-year-old Joey and 2-year-old Sundance.
Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor won their third consecutive Olympic gold in beach volleyball last summer in London. Unbenknownst to her mom, Scout was along for the ride — Walsh Jennings was about five weeks pregnant during the gold medal match.
