Fans of “Frozen” who have been anxiously awaiting to meet your live-action Elsa, here she is.
“Once Upon a Time” has just cast the Ice Queen for Season 4 (who will be on the show for about nine episodes). Georgina Haig, who played Peter Bishop and Olivia Dunham’s daughter Henrietta “Etta” Bishop on “Fringe,” will take on the newest Disney princess, EW reports.
Haig is the third new character cast on “OUAT” to bring “Frozen” to the ABC fairytale drama. Earlier this week, the series cast Elizabeth Lail as Elsa’s younger sister Anna and “Greek” alum and “Chasing Life” star Scott Michael Foster as Kristoff, Anna’s love interest.
On “OUAT,” Elsa arrived in Storybrooke at the end of the Season 3 finale after being locked in Rumpelstiltskin’s vault of magic he didn’t understand for who knows how long. The “Frozen” arc on the show will take place after the events of the movie, and executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have called their version of Elsa deeply misunderstood, not just a cut-and-dried villain.
Before catching Haig on “OUAT,” viewers can check out the future Queen of Arendelle on CBS’ “Reckless” this summer.
