In the series finale of “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland,” the showdown between the good guys and Jafar comes to a head — and of course, the good guys emerge victorious.
Unfortunately, Amara sacrifices herself to defeat Jafar, but when Jafar steals the water from the Well of Wonders that was inside Amara, the guardian of the well curses him into his own bottle. Poetic justice.
Alice and Cyrus are happy and reunited and take off for England, where they are married with her father’s blessing. His brothers are freed and Will and Anastasia are reunited, since the Guardian of the Well decrees, “The Red Queen” is meant to move on, but Anastasia’s path is meant to continue.”
It’s one big happy family at Cyrus and Alice’s wedding and presumably everyone lives happily ever after. We do get a sneak peek into Alice’s future, where she and Cyrus have a beautiful daughter and she’s Lewis Carroll. Heh.
And don’t fret, Will-lovers. Michael Socha is joining “Once Upon a Time” as a series regular next season. We hope that means either (or both) Emma Rigby’s Anastasia or Sophie Lowe’s Alice will pop up in Storybrooke as well.
