What would Oprah do? We’re about to find out.
Oprah Winfrey may have given up her perch in the daytime TV lineup, but she’s already set to jump back into the game with both feet — this time behind the scenes as the CEO of her struggling Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
OWN took over the cable line-up spot formerly held by Discovery Heath and, according to the Wall Street Journal, is unable even to match Discovery Health’s humble ratings.
Winfrey would take the network’s reins sometime in the fall and would also take on the role of chief creative officer of the network.
